With offices in Paris, Brussels & Luxembourg, Taleo is a global consulting firm specialized in business project delivery.
Our client, a major international bank, is looking for a new BI analyst to reinforce its Group IT department.
MISSIONS:
Gather and understand the internal client needs and translate them into a BI solution
Collect data and transform them into insights for business owners
Create dashboard and ad-hoc reporting
Define with the campaign product manager the optimal target group for a campaign
Analyze the data and external sources and translate the results of this analysis into a clear and actionable advices.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong IT affinity
A love of data and a deep desire to solve real world problems.
A degree in IT or analytical field (for example Science, Maths, Engineering, Economics, Finance).
An understanding of how a modern business operates and what makes the gears turn.
Strong maths and enough stats understanding to separate the signal from the noise.
Team player.
Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude.
Good communication and influencing skills.
Good analytical and synthesis skills.
Autonomy, commitment and perseverance.
Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with tools/environments designed to process big data for statistical purposes.
Knowledge of SQL language or any reporting tool (Business Object...) will be an advantage.
Experience in data warehouse/ SQL Server environment
Excellent knowledge of MS Access, Excel
Knowledge of data visualization tools (Qlikview, Looker, Periscope, Tableau etc).
