Job description

The Siemens Mobility division has exciting opportunities for RAMS Engineers. These roles will be located in our Bangkok office. The Siemens Mobility team is looking for individuals that are aligned with our company values: excellent, innovative and responsible to carry out reliability (R), availability (A), maintainability (M) and safety (S) analyses of railway signalling systems. The scope of supported activity includes customer projects and tendering activities, so you will be responsible for working with the design team to identify all hazards associated with the system, identify the necessary control measures for reducing the safety risk as far as is reasonably practicable, and verifying and validating the design implements the agreed control measures. In addition to working with the design team to demonstrate the chosen design achieves the project RAM requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

· Preparing a project RAMS plan.
· Delivering the RAMS activities (e.g. FFA, FMEA, IHA, HAZOP, OSHA, FTA, RBD, Risk Assessment, etc.) in accordance with the RAMS plan.
· Deriving RAMS requirements and constraints and verifying and validating the requirements are achieved.
· Providing technical advice and assisting development teams to carry out RAMS related tasks and coordinate RAMS elements.
· Supporting additional Systems Assurance activities (e.g. standards compliance, system requirement verification and validation, auditing, etc.).

To be considered for this role you should have:

· Understanding and application experience of RAMS management and RAMS engineering processes.
· Experience with IEC standard 61508 or CENELEC Standards 50126, 50128, and 50129.
· Knowledge of railway systems and equipment with sufficient underpinning knowledge to analyse requirement verification and validation.
· Formal technical qualification to degree standard in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is preferred though not essential.
· Excellent self discipline and adherence to quality forms and procedure.
· Good communication and writing skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
