SAP Labs is looking for Business Processes Consultant Data Science.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

·  You will answer our customer's most relevant questions using advanced analytics skills, ideas and insights. You will work in collaborative environment taking part in the whole process of analytical solution creation and delivering measurable business value.
·  You will be aimed at communication between business and IT turning high-level business questions into detailed scope statement of data analysis process.
·  You will have to learn new approaches and analytical methodologies from customer insights, current experience and your background and to propose appropriate modeling approach for particular task.
·  You will face with broad range of data wrangling, cleansing, and processing tasks having the vast amount of data from different sources and with different structures.
·  You will have to develop machine learning models and validate their performance as well as quantifying business impact.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

·  At least 1-3 years of hands-on analytical modeling experience
·  Advanced knowledge of analytical modeling techniques (nonparametric regression/classification, collaborative filtering, natural language processing, linear and discrete optimization, simulation, etc.)
·  Experience with existing modeling packages (Python, R, Weka, SAS)
·  Experience working with databases (SQL)
·  Experience with one of programming languages (Python, C++, Java)
·  Communication skills, team orientation and willingness to learn
·  Experience in turning modeling results into knowledge for business stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

·  University degree (preferably in computer science), Master's degree or PhD will be a plus.
·  Development experience (C++, Java) or complex project experience (Agile, scrum) will be a plus.
·  Web development (node.js, php) and visualization framework (D3, JS) experience will be a plus.
·  Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence experience will be a plus.
·  Experience with Big Data solutions (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, AWS) will be plus.
·  Experience with business areas (retail, telco, banking, ecommerce) will be a plus.
·  Computer science publications and proven scientific track record will be plus.
