Internship Converse Northern Europe Marketing

Job description

As a Converse Marketing Intern you will be an integral part of the Northern Europe Marketing department, providing vital support and enabling all marketing disciplines, including Retail, PR and Brand Communications.

This internship is designed to give you a 360 degrees overview of the marketing process within Converse. By the time you complete your assignment you will have gathered:

· And understanding of how a marketing department works, the differences between marketing disciplines and how we make key decisions
· Hands on experience working with agencies, working on events
· Hands on experience working with key influencers and members of the press
FOCUS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support the PR/Energy marketing manager on the delivery of a successful entertainment program, which includes managing seeding product and compiling reports on a regular basis.
· Support the retail marketing manager and working alongside agencies for e.g. digital retail assets (and be the spokesperson towards sales), distribution POS.
· Marketing Operations: manage budget tracking and invoice processing. Manage image portal
· Assist on the ground with the activation of events
· Offer creative input in to campaigns with a particular focus on representing the voice of the consumer

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
·  Knowledge of Dutch, Swedish and/or Danish language is a plus
·  University students in their third or fourth year studying Business, Marketing, Digital, Fashion or Media
·  Strong computer skills
·  Strong writing skills, being able to add the Converse flair to standard storytelling
·  Confident personality
·  Readiness to learn and be thrown in at the deep end
·  Ability to self-supervise and be proactive
·  Love for music, fashion, skate or modern culture
MINIMUM CRITERIA

·  Applicants must be student currently enrolled to any higher education institution, able to provide their students status
·  Valid EU work permit
