Leisure Sales Executive

Job description

You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Sales Executive is responsible to maximise sales and achieve pre-determined targets, working closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage and other revenue-generating departments

· Proactively finding opportunities for business growth by securing the development of the existing portfolio, while simultaneously acquiring new accounts.
· Entertaining and conducting hotel inspections with partners.
· Engaging in weekly sale activities in order to secure the continuous growth of business. (Sales Calls, Site Inspections, Entertainment, Sales Blitz).
· Assisting to conduct extensive competitor research and maintaining excellent product knowledge of the Hotel.
· Liaising and working closely with the related operation departments ensuring guest’s expectations are being met.
· Achieving personal sales targets.
· Assisting the team with any support that they require.
· Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
· To ensure all employees maintain an updated awareness of Hotel product knowledge, current promotion, policy changes and appropriate internal communication. To maximize the effectiveness of Sales Coordinators by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Sales Executive in hotel operations. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.

• Past Experience in Pro-active sales

• Experience with Opera, Reserve and Prio systems for report generation and queries is desirable.

• Knowledge of the leisure market and skills to identify business opportunities.

• Good team development and leadership skills.

• Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.

• The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.

• Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.

• Advanced conversational skills in Spanish and English, both in writing, speaking and reading.
