We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Credit Control Officer .

Principal Accountabilities

·  Calling customers who have delinquent debts with a very standardized engagement Model that purposely drive for the effective and efficient negotiation conversations, 
·  Handling inbound/outbound calls for dunning to ensure that services are delivered in a timely manner of high quality professional services.
·  Preparing and sending collection letters and emails as per the approved templates and strategy. 
·  Ensuring the fair treatment of our customers is at the heart of everything we do, both personally and as an organization.
·  Resolving customer queries/ complaints if required.
·  Maintaining HSBC control standards and follow Group Compliance Policy to minimize operational risk by:
·  Remaining compliant with and ensures awareness of Audit and Group requirements and other internal guidelines;
·  Ensuring strict compliance with government banking regulations; 
·  Timely implementing internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external.
·  Maximizing cost effectiveness by meeting the set targets. 
·  Identifying gaps in daily process and provide suggestion to streamline process.
·  Providing feedbacks for delinquency and supporting statistics to line manager and/or relevant department.

Information

Educational and Relevant Experience:

·  University Degree in any major;
·  2 years of experiences in Collection role. 

Knowledge/Special Skill Requirement:

·  Ability to guide the junior colleagues/ newcomers to the right direction of the Bank.
·  Good at verbal and written communication skills (English) 
·  Critical thinking, ability to address areas of concern in conjunction with Risk.
·  Understanding of customers’ needs and delivering excellent customer services.
·  Possession communication and telecommunication skills.
·  Good knowledge about core banking products and system.
