Role Summary/Purpose

As Customer Accounting Specialist, you will be part of a team in charge to provide accounting services to the legal entity operated by the GE affiliates across a growing number of countries in Europe. The Customer accounting specialist will be mainly responsible for some of the following activities : payment processing of processing supplier invoices, prepare and issue customer billing, manage cash application etc.
Essential Responsibilities

Vos missions seront :
- Préparer et émettre des factures commerciales et non-commerciales
- Gérer l’imputation des paiements pour les clients non sensibles
- Analyser les soldes des comptes clients
- Résoudre et assurer le rapprochement et la validation des soldes des comptes clients
- Suivre les transactions de paiement auprès des fournisseurs externes et de l’exécution des paiements
- Exécuter l’imputation des paiements et les rapprochements bancaires
- Saisir les données inter-entreprises dans l’outil de reporting

In summary, your main responsibilities will be :
- To prepare and issues commercial and non-commercial billing
- To manage cash application for non-sensitive customers
- To analyze customer account balances
- To resolve and record customer requests and inquiries
- To be responsible for follow up on payment transactions to external suppliers
- To perform cash allocation and bank account reconciliations
- To report inter-company data in reporting tool and ensure reconciliations
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Vous justifiez d’une première expérience et disposez d’un diplôme de niveau bac + 2 / + 3 avec une spécialité en comptabilité, type BTS CGO, DCG (ou expérience/connaissances équivalentes). 
·  Vous maîtrisez impérativement l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral de façon à travailler aisément en anglais au quotidien.
·  Vous avez des bonnes compétences de communication, ainsi que de bonnes qualités relationnelles. 
·  Vous connaissez idéalement SAP. 
·  La maitrise d’une autre langue étrangère est un plus.

·  You are a qualified accounting analyst with an accounting or finance diploma (or equivalent experience/knowledge) and are able to work every day in a fluent english.
·  You have a good understanding of accounting pratices and are proficiency in MS office. You have good communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
·  Your knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
·  A fluent / basic competency in additional European language is a benefit.
