We are currently looking for person with solid technical background to join our DATA SCIENCE TEAM , as DATA SCIENCE MANGER. In this role, you create solutions for internal customers, by designing and implementing solutions based on Data, allowing decision-making based on statistical analysis, AI, in accordance with ENGIE's development objectives and strategy as well as legal requirements.

What you will do:

·  You will be responsible for the quality of the solutions delivered by the Data Science team, ensuring to the internal clients the best IT solutions/ new functionalities from a technical-economical point of view, in accordance with the company's strategy and internal policy.
·  You will develop the quarterly/ annual roadmap for launching initiatives in the field of Data Science: you will coordinate the implementation process specific to the area of ​​activity, ensuring the permanent documentation of projects.
·  You will have a strategic role by continuously improving data analysis models, creating a competitive advantage for the organization by using new and creative data sources and by using the latest trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning area.
·  You will work closely with other IT teams (e.g., SAP BW, SAP IS-U, Salesforce, Infrastructure, Digital, etc.) to create big data applications and design the optimal architecture.
·  You will be responsible for the development and permanent increase of the level of competencies and the involvement of your own team, having, as a permanent objective, to increase the quality of the services.
·  You will collaborate on constructing the Data Strategy for the entire Group of companies in Romania along with policies and procedures

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

·  Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT or a related area).
·  Minimum 3-year experience in implementing solutions based on Data Science.
·  3-year experience in IT project management.
·  Financial knowledge and experience in budget management.
·  Advanced proficiency in working with programming languages, statistical and modeling packages, prototypes (e.g., fluency in R, Python, SQL, VB, Matlab and other advanced analysis tools e.g., SAP Business Objects).
·  Extensive experience in the field of probability and statistics, including machine learning, experimental design, and optimization.
·  Solid knowledge in the area of SAP Business Warehouse reporting, analysis services, integration services, Salesforce or other data visualization tools.
·  Experience in working with Hadoop.
·  Proactive attitude.
·  Creative and strategic thinking.
·  Innovative mindset.
