IT Engineer for Simulation Applications - IT TSR

Job Description

·  Support end users in their daily job (based on incident tickets)

·  Become specialist on applications usage and administration

·  Become a specialist and be able to provide trainings on the supported application

·  Prepare new software releases  for internal deployment

·  Monitor application’s activity (performance monitoring, logs, failures)

·  Develop as contact point for users communities and organize user meetings

·  Collect and analyze user's requests for further processing

·  Define tool enhancements based on the collected requests

·  Implement  changes on applications as required by the change management process

·  Administrate application's environment and instances (users rights, database changes and quotes)

·  Lead technical projects and/or participate in projects as team member

·  Pro-actively look to learn and develop new skills in using Cloud technologies ( eg. AWS )

Desired profile

Job Requirements

·  University  background on relevant  field (e.g. Computer Science, Informatics, Electronics, Physics, …etc)

·  At least 2 years experience on a similar position

·  Knowledge of Operating Systems (e.g. Win 7, Win10, etc)

·  Knowledge in tools configuration and scripting  

·  Basic knowledge of databases

·  Basic knowledge of model-based  development applications  ( eg Matlab, Simulink, GNU Octave)

·  Basic knowledge of IT processes ( eg. Incident Management, Change Management, … etc)

·  Fundamentals in leading IT projects ( eg. project phases, roles and responsibilities, specific processes and methods)

·  Strong problem analysis/solving skills

·  Initiative and team player;

·  Self-motivated and proactive in working as a part of a global team

·  Analytical thinking and well organized person

·  Good communication skills and customer focus

·  Willingness to travel occasionally

·  Good English skills.
