Purpose
There is an opportunity to become a member of an Agile team supporting further enhancement and value delivery from our Project Management system. This system is built on Office 365 and Project Online.

Job Description

As a member of the Scrum team, you will assist in all aspects of the operation of the team. Including refinement of the backlog, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos and retrospectives. As an Agile Test Engineer, you will work daily with the developers to ensure high quality of the features being developed. You will drive test automation for regression testing and perform exploratory testing with the developers as they are working on new features on a high frequency basis. Arm have a central framework for automated testing and you use and drive improvements in this framework with other testers in other teams.

Job Requirements

The role’s responsibilities will consist of the following:

·  Implement/enhance automated testing of the solution
·  Produce dashboards and reports to help identify problems and improve understanding throughout the team of quality issues
·  Document and evaluate defects
·  Assist the developers in determine root cause of defect and priority for fixing
·  Work closely with the product owner to understand patterns of use and improve the overall testing approach
·  Aid with solution deployment and transition to support
·  Provide input to training and documentation
·  Work closely with developers to improve the quality of features being developed
·  Improve the quality of user stories by ensuring that testing is built into key development
·  Work with the IT Security function to ensure that all Arm’s global applications have the required levels of security and protection of Arm’s business information.

Technical Skills

Candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills

·  3 Years + experience testing in an Agile team environment
·  Experience maintaining and deploying automating test solutions based on: Selenium, Cucumber, X-Ray, Jenkins, Maven, Saucelabs, Junit and TestNG
·  Behaviour Driven Development (Cucumber/JBehave/Spock)

Soft Skills

·  Functional Knowledge of working in an Agile process supporting sprint delivery
·  Ability to influence the team and be an advocate for quality
·  Clear verbal and written communication skills and to be confident in presentation skills

Desirable Skills

·  Experience the MS development environments
·  SAFe Scaled Agile methodology
·  JavaScript development skills
·  Knowledge of Project Server and MS O365

Personal Specification

·  Must be able to work well with others in a team, especially when under pressure.
·  Effective communication skills with both colleagues and customers.
·  To take responsibility for your own work including the prioritization of tasks and goals.
·  Excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

·  Relevant Certification in Microsoft Development practises or Testing frameworks.
