Knowledge Management Specialist - Product Definition Analyst Advocate

Business environment

The Development Engineering Services (DES) division is committed to support Developer Experience across Amadeus Engineering Communities. Its goal is to promote and advocate the software development practices to improve R&D efficiency and thus help Amadeus deliver world-class business services. We provide to Amadeus Engineering Communities all necessary expertise and tools support during development and control phases (e.g quality assurance phases) from craft of the equirements, their code up to the delivery in production.
As a Production Definition Analyst advocate, you will be in charge of improving the experience and promoting the practices of the Product Definition Analyst among the R&D division.

Purpose

The purpose is to help and support Software Product Definition Analysts in their mission by:

Governance - Community Animation:
Facilitating and animating of the PDA Community
Engaging with PDA teams to improve their practices and thus the quality of their deliverables

Innovation - Tooling and practices:
Qualifying, challenging and promoting practices and tools to improve their proficiency
Taking part of the development or usage and support of new tooling

Knowledge Sharing - Communication
Being actor in communication and education streams
Implement Knowledge Sharing culture across Amadeus

Key accountabilities

Advocacy:
You promote the tools and practices among the PDA and gather feedback to improve these solutions
You animate the PDA Community

Governance:
You facilitate thanks to the PDA Community decision making and governance on topics such as:
Recommended PDA tools and specification practices.
For instance:
Tools for specification writing and specifications central repository solution
Specifications global guidelines - Design a corporate template for Amadeus product specifications

Communication:
You are active in various internal and external communication streams:
You write articles, contribute to newsletter and make presentations to increase PDA awareness on practices and solutions
You share publicly internal experience and advocate tools and practices
You facilitate cross teams knowledge sharing

Profil recherché

Education

University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work

Relevant work experience

* Former PDA experience
* Experience in giving training or coaching
* Experience in animation of communities of practices would be a plus
* Awareness of OpenSource world would be a plus}
