JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

You will be part of our Asset Management Products Development team. Our team is responsible to create and drive solutions for asset managers, from the initial requirements to the final products, in regulatory reporting, compliance, risk areas and further services. We combine finance and IT know-how to get maximum value out of the data for our clients. In this role you will gain deep insights into the data model and the products of a major financial company.

As a Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) you are responsible for analysing, designing and implementing new solutions. You are the key contact for the client, the service line and act as primary interface between business and development. In your daily job you will work on new requirements and setting up new products together with the developers and the Operations colleagues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Drive asset management related changes with regards to calculation, data flows as well as output reports and web application: analyse and align the requirements with the client and with the internal teams, design and implement the process, create the requirements document, depending on the change configure yourself or ensure the implementation by developers, test and sign off
·  Ensure third level support for the products you are in charge of
·  Proactively identify and drive data quality, process improvements and contribute to the innovation in our company

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

·  University degree in mathematics, economics, business administration, finance and/or equivalent experience in finance
·  Experience in the financial services sector as a business analyst / data analyst or in a similar role
·  High data affinity and experience in data analysis, preferably with relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL) / VBA / Python
·  Strong analytical approach and the ability to take initiative and to complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines
·  Customer-focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
·  Open to new challenges and eager to learn new methods and tools and to share knowledge
·  An enthusiastic approach to team work
·  Fluency in English and German
