Role Description

 

You will support the wider business in the management of Allianz significant inspection clients taking specific responsibility for leading and motivating regional teams in the delivery of a first class inspection service.

Assisting in the acquisition of profitable engineering inspection business in line with Business Plans and Local Action Plans and retain existing business volume and profitability. You will personally support or lead major new business acquisition with the regional and direct teams to secure large case profitable business.

 

You will have regular communication and proactively support the Head of Distribution & Trading, Engineering Inspection and the regional teams with the acquisition of and retention of key clients. Frequently analyse service delivery for key clients, review and make recommendations to improve all inspection products and services.

 

You will develop and maintain high level relationships with senior personnel at key customers and intermediaries within the local market. Design and implement Key Account Management programmes for key clients and contribute to the programme for suppliers and brokers. Be proactive and develop cross selling initiatives for inspection products that seek to meet the needs and wants of our customers across the regions.

 

Ensuring close co-operation with other Allianz Engineering operational business areas, and assisting all staff to maximise their personal potential.

 

About You

 

·  Develop and retain profitable business relationships with key customers, suppliers and intermediaries. Liaise with Regional Business Manager/Area Technical Operations Manager in order to determine and implement CRM strategy and delivery of inspection service which meets requirements of the business and satisfies customer service standards, seeking remedial action if appropriate.
·  Engagement with the regional technical operations teams including coaching to achieve service levels and successful business results.
·  Contribute to and engage in the development and monitoring of agreed regional/direct business development strategy, targets and action plans.
·  Explore cross-selling opportunities with Allianz Commercial teams as appropriate and drive joint development initiatives.
·  Liaise as necessary with the Engineering inspection team leaders to ensure maximum efficiencies in the interface between underwriting, support and customers, working to agreed service standards.
·  Support and manage administration, monitoring, reporting and work allocation.

·  Ability to organise own workload, support others, and lead and delegate effectively.
·  Meet timescales and business KPI’s.
·  Work in collaboration with team members, promoting an inclusive culture.
·  Support coaching and up-skilling team members to ensure they perform to the best of their ability.
·  Display a positive attitude and show a willingness to learn and embrace new ways of working.
·  Good communication and written skills.
·  Experience using the features of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
·  Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve customer profitable growth objectives.
·  Experience in account and relationship management.
·  Ability to develop and implement customer strategies.
 

Qualifications
 

CII or CRM qualifications preferred.
