Postdoctoral researcher

- Chimie / Biologie / Agronomie- Web interface development: implementation of web interface for the code used during my PhD, where researchers can estimate stellar properties based on a broad range of input parameters. - Communication skills: publication of peer-reviewed articles with collaborators. - Supervisory skills: co-advisor of a master student.

PhD Researcher

- Chimie / Biologie / Agronomie- Project developed: to understand the formation and structure of our Galaxy, it is important to know distances, masses, and other stellar properties with very good precision for a large quantity of stars spread over all regions of our Galaxy. Therefore I computed these properties for thousands of stars using a Bayesian method implemented in a C code that combines different input parameters. - Programming and statistics: implementation of 5 new variables as input parameter for the code; a new stellar model; tables of central tendencies and credible intervals as output results and probability density functions for each output parameter. - Data analysis: created shell scripts to organize the large quantity of output data and IDL/Python scripts to analyze them. - Collaboration skills: member of two large collaboration teams (SDSS-III/IV and APOKASC) – resulting in several meetings, teleconferences, and co-authorship in peer-reviewed articles. - Communication skills: presentation of research in several scientific conferences. - Publications: two peer-reviewed articles as first author in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, one of the most prestigious journals in Astrophysics.
