Expériences

Electrical Engineering Intern

- Energie / Matériaux / Mécanique• Developed Python tool to ease the process of creating Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test scripts • Performed semi-automated validation for Polaris vehicle controllers using software developed in-house and CANalyzer • Assisted other engineers in developing semi-automated software validation tools written in C# • Helped integrate a HIL testing system into Polaris’ controller design process • Started a web-based documentation system for storing HIL resources • Provided support for other controller validation projects

Manufacturing Engineering Intern

- Energie / Matériaux / Mécanique• Created Visual Work Instructions for the assembly lines at Polaris using Creo Illustrate • Operated closely with the engineering team to develop visual representations of the written work processes • Installed thin client computer stations on the assembly lines for operators to view work instructions • Developed a time-saving computer script to save more than $3700 in labor per year for each plant facility • Recorded video tutorials for training new operators on the assembly lines • Trained Polaris process technicians on how to update and use the new visual work instruction system • Assisted at various positions on the assembly lines when necessary

Executive Assistant

- Community Management• Organized business information using software such as Microsoft Access, Excel, and MySQL • Helped to design and program PHP web pages for employee management • Ensured peak efficiency in inventory handling for over 800 items by employing a barcode system • Monitored and debugged web-based computerized inventory systems • Handled supply deliveries by adding them to the inventory and moving them to storage • Helped computer technicians diagnose and fix problems with customers’ personal computers • Created online tutorials for common customer issues

Diesel Mechanic

- Energie / Matériaux / Mécanique• Diagnosed electrical and mechanical problems on agricultural equipment • Developed solutions for problems with the aid of mechanical and electrical schematics • Used electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and voltage probes to diagnose electrical circuits • Designed and built custom agricultural plowing equipment to fulfill customers’ orders • Welded and soldered components for farm machines on a daily basis • Managed business computer information networks and updated systems regularly • Performed farm equipment repossessions for local banks

President

University Of Minnesota Duluth Robotics Club
- Maintenant

I'm currently the president of the University of Minnesota Duluth Robotics Club, which is competing in this year's Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC). We're building a deployable fixed-wing glider payload which will launch on a rocket to 30,000 ft, deploy automatically, and fly autonomously while collecting footage and atmospheric data. We're collaborating with the university's Rocketry Club, which is building the rocket to carry our payload. The Robotics Club also works to help students dive deeper into the world of engineering by carrying out projects, both large and small, throughout the school year. We put on demonstrations on campus and reach out to local community schools to teach others about the wonders of engineering and technology.
