Rory Muir

My interest in engineering started from a young age as I have always been interested in the way things worked and the processes behind them. Throughout school it was obvious I had an aptitude for the STEM subjects which further drove me towards a future in engineering. For my 6th year Advanced Higher Chemistry project, I synthesised aspirin in the lab and had the opportunity to go to St Andrews University and use their facilities to further analyse my work. This gave me a great hands on experience working within a highly professional and well established environment.
