A) CNC PROGAMMER
•Create cnc programs from designed CAD models.
•Interpret CAD models and makes the necessary design changes for machining processes.
•Develop new program techniques to produce quicker cycle times and reduce tooling cost
•Collaborate with Toolmakers and CNC operators to resolve any problems.
• Create CNC programs for new builds, repairs and modifications of press and plastic injection moulds.
•Programmes used. Edgcam, Autocad, PTC Creo, Sheetcam.
B) Toolmaking
• Perform all aspects of plastic injection moulds including new builds modifications, repairs and problem solving.
• Machines utilized are Mills, Surface Grinders & Lathes.
• Manufacture parts according to drawings and tolerances.
• Use precision measuring equipment where necessary.
• Often assigned to resolfe problematic tooling.
