Project Billing Centre: (From Aug 2014 – March, 2016)
Product from Guidewire, Billing Centre manages premium billing, collection processes and agency commission payments across NFU Mutual’s motor, personal and commercial business lines (and few non NFU products). The system enables NFU Mutual to streamline the payment collection process, reduce manual activities and significantly simplify premium reconciliation.

Role Played Test Analyst
Responsibilities
• Worked at the client site in United Kingdom as integral part of AGILE team involved in upgrading Billing center from Version-2 to Version-7
• Requirement gathering: Liaise with Business Analysts and business owners to create a user friendly and efficient solution
• Strategy planning and estimation.
• Create clear, concise and auditable manual test scripts, for all functional requirements.
• Exhaustive system test execution and accurate reporting of errors / issues.
• Test Billing and payment system (BACS – ADDACS, AUDDIS, ARRUD) through manually and batch files, card payments
• Knowledge of Jenkins, SVN
• Testing driven development for updating the functionality or enhancement
• Raising defects found during test execution and tracking the defect for fixing, retesting and closing (standard defect life cycle)
• Perform Risk based testing
• Sound knowledge of XML based testing for documentations
• Regression testing
• Test planning, creating test matrix for new automation scenarios – managing automation during regression test
• Basic knowledge of Automation tool (QTP)
• Providing demonstration to the Business analyst and business owners once the change is ready

This TIBCO application is product of TIBCO used for claims administration by NFU Mutual along with Claims Document Management (EDM) for all claims process. This application allow documents to be viewed electronically from any NFUM location enabling work to be distributed, actioned and updated from any NFUM Regional Service Centre.

Responsibilities:
• Strategy planning and estimation.
• Liaise with Business Analysts and Developers on requirement gathering and relevant queries
• Lead a team of 4 people
• System testing – Create and execute reusable test cases – using HP QC
• Defect logging and retesting – Recording Defect life cycle on HP QC
• Regression testing
• Create and provide Knowledge Transfer and Hands on to new members.
Project ’Business as usual’ releases: (From March, 2012 to Dec 2012 and Feb,2014 to July 2014)
NFU Mutual uses iFaces (Insurance Faces) – a packaged application from Target Harlosh which manages all the general insurance and claims administration requirements.
BAU release works under Waterfall model where any change and defects are fixed and tested
