- Services à la personne I worked both on the Medical Ward and the Surgical Ward,I also trained as a Ward Clerk.
My tasks were taking patients observations helping with washing and dressing also help with eating and drinking.
Changing the bedding on the wards and generally looking after all the patients wants and needs.
As a ward clerk I delt with family members ringing about their family and what's going on with them. I also learnt how to track patients notes in and out of the ward,filling patients documents in their notes,booking porters to take patients for their tests and scans etc.Keeping lines of communication open at all times with the patient or their family.
