- Administration A summer job that gave the opportunity to try something very new and different. Had excessive training, the training took a few days away in Bournemouth but after that, was qualified to work and could work from home a lot of the time.
My duties included: Providing information verbally or in writing, booking holidays for families, groups and individuals, use new software’s, regularly update books, contact other businesses/ companies, set up business meetings and conference calls, writing letters, memos and reports.
WAITRESS/BARTENDER
- Hôtellerie - Restauration I had the opportunity to travel to various different locations every shift e.g. O2 arena, Emirates stadium, Wembley stadium, Twickenham stadium, queen Elizabeth Olympic stadium etc. I was also able to dabble in many different job roles such as bartending, working in a confectionary booth, event food and beverage waitressing etc.
My duties included: Providing excellent customer service, taking orders and serve guest, liaise information to other members of my team (e.g. chef), restock items, use the till/ handle money, handle several different alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages, remember food menus, dietary requirements and
allergens of all guests, work in both large and small teams, use own initiative when problem solving, ensure all guests ID's are checked, be knowledgeable of what forms of ID are acceptable and be knowledgeable of emergency procedures e.g. fire procedure.
TRAINY BEAUTY THERAPIST
- Ventes My duties were to: aid both customers and co-worker’s when required, keep work stations and equipment clean, make customers comfortable and providing beverages, order products for the shop, book appointments for customers and deal with unsatisfied clients.
Voluntary retail assistant
- Ventes I did a 2 weeks work experience in lewisham for this charity shop. My duties included greeting/ serving customers, making sure shop floor and back of house are kept clean at all times and lastly, learning to work in a small team. It was my first ever form of work and it was very challenging to start with but after awhile I got in to it and by the end of that two weeks I had gained a much better understanding of what it entails to work in the retail sector. also, building on interactions with customers and learning the true meaning and importance of a returning customer.
