Résumé

I am a student in Computer Science in the United Kingdom. After studying Marketing and Management for a year, I realised I wanted to get an edge over the regular business graduates interested in tech and understand the technological side as well. I am a very fast learner as I believe am efficient at making parallels between topics, problems and solutions. I proudly develop my profile as a "jack of all trades" rather than master of one in order to tackle various future challenges.

Expériences

Consultant intern

- My mission at BearingPoint is to design and conduct a study about the digitalisation of companies in Belgium. I am interviewing numerous of the top companies such as Spadel, Engie or Velux. With the results of the study, combined with my own research I have to submit a report about the countries situation, current best practices and suggestions that BearingPoint will then use as a first contact with potential clients as their goal is to increase their presence in Belgium. The outtakes of this internship are: - the development and reinforced of my research and analytical skills - learning the requirements of deliverables in a consulting firm such as BearingPoint - improving my contact with individuals of high rank in companies such as CIOs, CTOs or even CEOs

Consultant intern

- Working with Adara has been a unique opportunity for me as it was my first contact with the consulting industry, in addition, the mission I was tasked with uniquely interesting. I assisted Managing Partner Anne Lange on their research in digital transition in general. Adara is serving diverse clients in the digital world including Amazon or the French Government. I was asked to research deeper two particular themes : Smart City and Digital Identity. I was then to organise that research with the purpose of providing market analysis, relevant use cases, and innovative ideas. The last aspect of my mission was to contribute to the redaction of two white papers (about 15 pages each) about these themes for a particular client. The outcome of this internship were unprecedented for me. Conducting extensive research for Adara introduced me to a thorough methodology and better understanding of expected information and conclusions. The introduction to the consulting environment and process reinforced my understanding, knowledge and adaptability towards transversal themes. I realised that, what I believe now to be my strongest asset, is my capacity to quickly understand a problematic, research and learn about it, and deliver relevant insights and solutions. Such progress was only possible through the important responsibilities managing partner Anne Lange very quickly trusted me with.

Sales assistant

- During this summer vacancy I was trained to assist in the men's sportswear collection sales team. I created a relationship with the client in order to best his needs and demands. The most informant skill I retain from this experience is the constant need in customer facing jobs to ANTICIPATE the client's next demand, not just respond to it.

Consultant partner

- MaintenantI regularly consult with the creative studio Brainjuice after I had an internship with them in 2014. The different projects I have been involved with range from designing a new kids playground, setting up a creative database or imagining new business models for retail spaces.

Artistic consultant

- My main task was to imagine concepts for nightclubs. I managed a creative team of 3 members, and supervised and influenced the brainstorming for ideas, the establishment of the process we were to follow, the promotion, and managing entries and customer reaction on the day of the event. In the promotion I would influence the visual aspect we wanted to give to the event and the channels through which we would promote it. Doing that involved a lot of social media community managing and constant interaction with potential customers. The goal for the each new concept was for it to reinforce the already strong Insomnia branding through new elements and excellent customer service. Building and managing a strong VIP community was a very important part of providing this excellent customer service. Throughout my time working for the Insomnia events I was mentored by the creator of the Insomnia nights, Nicolas Dreze who introduced to me every aspect of organising and event. The results we managed to reach as a team were great as we increased the Insomnia customer base and expanded it to a new generation. We also negotiated a monthly event we the biggest student nightclub in Brussels. What I was able to achieve, thanks to the responsibilities I was given by Nicolas, had an unique impact on me. The hands-on experience I gained is something really beneficial that I probably couldn't have found anywhere else at that age.

Seasonal employee

- This position was my first summer job. I was employed in a concept hotel in the french Alps. I was given a variety of tasks including cleaning the 30 rooms in the hotel every morning, preparing them for new arrivals, setting up the breakfast buffet and the lunch tables, and assisting the chef in the kitchen. I learned a lot during this first experience in the professional world such as respecting and executing tasks efficiently, and the importance and exigence of hotel work. During my time at Patchwork Altitude I was trained by the hotel manager Angelique Falcoz who did a great job at introducing me to the hotel environment. Under her watch I've improved a lot in my listening skills and my discipline in a working environment. The experience enabled me to grow as worker but also as a team member as I was the least experienced employee.
