I'm looking to go into the Comedy industry, as it's something I've been passionate about ever since I was a child brought up on Seinfeld and reruns of Cheers. I'm particularly interested in live comedy, and would love to work helping to run a comedy club or regular comedy events.
While at university I was part of the OTC, which trained me in the basics of soldiering and the role of an officer in the British Army
I was mentor to a child in his final year of primary and first year of secondary, helping him with his studies as well as his social side. It required me to relearn quite a lot of science as well as convincingly act like I meant to lose to him in chess, despite having taught him to play only a few weeks before, though I (increasingly desperately) maintain that if I had been paying attention I wouldn't have. I also helped with the after school club, which was broader and involved many more children, at times a nightmare and at times a delight.
