Ground Operations Coordinator

- Marketing• Temporary role responsible for the logistics of 26 open and bespoke overseas corporate and charity cycle challenges (groups size up to 150 cyclists). Main responsibilities: transportation, vehicle management, accommodation, catering, researching future trip concepts, analysing reports, coordinating various trips that overlapped – to include maximising profit through continuous cost-reduction management and creation of the master planning sheets. • Research for future events, estimating participant numbers for trips and securing sufficient hotel & transport blocks for 2016, prioritising busier times such as during the Tour de France. • Clients included: Macmillan, Help for Heroes, Great Ormond Street, Moët Hennessy & Blackrock. Routes included: London-Paris, Venice-Rome, Paris-Geneva, & Frankfurt-Havant.

Event Coordinator

- Marketing• Sole Event Coordinator for Conferences & Exhibitions. Main events: Sydney’s Search Marketing Expo (SMX) 2014 & 2015, SMX Bootcamp 2014 & various seminars in the field of SEO and PPC (Online Marketer.) In addition, coordinating several networking events. • 2015’s SMX event hosted 12 international speakers (including experts from Disney Interactive, Google & Microsoft Bing) & attracted 200 delegates. This event consisted of two streams (plenary & breakout) with an exhibition component. SMX Bootcamp attracted 100 delegates, whilst most seminars and workshops were on average 40-50 delegates in size. • Responsibilities: task-management, adhering to the event budget (120,000 AUD for SMX), site visits, coordinating exhibitor/sponsor involvement, delegate registration, use of Etouches platform to create online forms & update website content, speaker management, accommodation and bookings, writing web copy, assisting with social media (Twitter feeds, Instagram), researching concepts for networking events, sourcing suppliers (AV & Expo Hire), catering arrangements, security and insurance, floor-plans, printing materials (signage, guidebooks, badges etc.), run-sheets, volunteer management & sourcing… • Demonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills through sourcing the most cost-effective and high quality suppliers to keep in-line with the event budget (acquiring quotes, research, negotiating, developing contacts). • Due to logistical issues with my recovery from the accident I planned the 2015 Conference remotely from the UK, which meant regular video conferencing meetings and many out of hours calls with varying time zones.
