I have been interested in engineering since I bought a Land Rover to rebuild. While I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the rebuild, working on the running gear was the most interesting experience. This required me to deal with everything from severe corrosion and seized parts to worn out defective components in order to make the vehicle safe to use. The inevitable fault finding process involved with any complex equipment, is something I find rewarding. I jump at the opportunity to fiddle with anything electronic or mechanical to understand how it works.
