- Energie / Matériaux / MécaniqueFatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer at Assystem UK involved in the following projects: 1) Spar Edge Impact Protection which involved Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analyses of A350XWB-1000 Slat Track 15-17 Funk Plate Sizing. The analyses were carried out using ISAMI version 8.1, PATRAN and NASTRAN. The Funk Plates are bolted to the aft side of the Composite Front Spar Web and the Leading Edge Track Ribs. The Funk Plate is only loaded in the event of a failure of Main Roller 2, supporting the Slat Track Arm to avoid damage to the Spar Web.
