POSITION SUMMARY
Preparing items for shipment, verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments, and loading trucks.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Check materials being shipped against related paperwork
Prepare bill of lading and other realted shipping documents
Box and lead seats on trucks
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer knowledge required
Previous shipping experience preferred
Read, write and speak English
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires extended periods of walking and working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment.Bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to approximately fifty pounds are required during tasks related to the job.
