Lean Transformation Intern

Job description

Act as a resource to Operational Excellence Engineering team by assisting with improvement projects while developing basic documents.
Act as a project point person/interface between other groups.
Ensure adequate flow of information within respective department by performing general duties.
Provide general industrial engineering support to the implementation team related to problem solving through root cause analysis, process design for manufacturing and assembly, work instructions, time studies, process mapping and/or Value Stream Mapping.

Job requirements

Education: Post high school education in Engineering or related field required
Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program full-time required
Two years of college coursework preferred, not required

Experience: One-year previous work experience required
