Job description

Occupational Summary:

Participate as a valuable member of the accounting group by working directly with an assigned mentor to complete an assigned project.

Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions):

· Assist with the creation of various accounting procedures
· Extract data from the accounting system to use for financial analysis
· Organize information and prepare journal entries
· Attend meetings related to the project or department.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements :

Knowledge and Skills:

· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Actively enrolled in a field of study such as accounting or finance.
· Must be able to comprehend technical information pertaining to the commercial aircraft industry.
· Acquire an understanding manufacturing processes
· Attention to detail.
· Proficiency in MS Office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).

Education and Experience: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited accounting or finance program in upper level classes.

· Competencies: Acts in accordance with company values and related competencies.
· Communication Skills: Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment. Ability to read and review written communication. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
