JOB DESCRIPTION

Engages in activities related to the creation, design and production of client/prospect proposals/tenders to support brokers’ efforts to gain new revenue and retain existing revenue. Additionally, assists with design solutions for other sales literature in accordance with current corporate design standards.

This role can be located in Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Minneapolis, MN, Philadelphia, PA or Seattle, WA.

The Role

·  Participate in the proposal Kick-off meeting at the outset of proposal project, helping the team leader with production timing requirements
·  Works with team leader and proposal manager to develop optimal wording and design characteristics for answers to RFP questions in particular and in the proposal as a whole, through consistent voice and illustration
·  Communicates and coordinates with the proposal manager at all stages of the production process
·  Decides whether existing proposal design concepts are applicable/appropriate for the current proposal
·  Maintains workflow in the preparation and production of proposal
·  Formats, reviews and corrects first and subsequent drafts of the proposal, including charts and tables
·  Discusses, reviews and delivers final draft of the proposal to the team leader and proposal manager
·  Proofreads/edits drafts and makes suggestions for improvement to the proposal manager
·  Designs and oversees any external professional printing and delivery to proposal manager
·  Assists with proposal tracking and measurement
·  Revises team-generated slide shows to support oral presentations in RFP environments
·  Meets established or negotiated deadlines for all stages of project development
·  Handles the set up for the post RFP debrief process and documents results
·  Supports on-going efforts to enhance and maintain a library of standard RFP questions and answers
·  Maintains library of graphics, organizational charts, and other company information for use in proposals

The Requirements 

·  BA/BS Degree in English or Business Administration preferred, but not required 
·  3+ years’ experience in RFP/proposal management desired 
·  Working knowledge of insurance and/or reinsurance a plus
·  Proven track record of managing content, timelines, writing, editing, proofreading, SME coordination, and production of print/electronic response content
·  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
·  Ability to identify and leverage essential information and think in a critical and logical manner
·  Ability to work in a client-centric, strategic and decisive manner according to tight deadlines
·  Excellent communication (written, verbal & oral) skills and interpersonal skills
