Position Description

The internship role provides students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment and to support/promote the students' career goals through contacts with professionals in their fields of study. The internship experience enables students to participate in professional activities for Volvo) by working on important and innovative projects. Internships are structured learning experiences where interns and our full time professionals work together on projects within their selected organizations. These assignments allow students to integrate knowledge and skills in manners that are mutually beneficial to the students and Volvo

Responsibility may include, but are not limited to the follow: assisting the Product planning specialist regarding a bodybuilder survey project: assisting in the preparation of the survey (building questions, looking for informations thru documentary research) participation to the fieldwork & the analysis:for example in designing PowerPoint templates and preparing presentations.

Other assignments as considered appropriated by Truck intelligence & feature team and as agreed upon with intern.

The intern must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or already have a diploma in engineering & making a complementary degree in marketing.

Fully proficient in reading, writing and speaking English, additional European language is mandatory (French, Swedish, German, Spanish...)
Ability to relocate to Lyon or to Gothenburg for duration of internship.
For initial consideration, a candidate must meet the following criteria:

·  Listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understandably, and actively seeking feedback
·  interest for customer usage & new technologies, Ability to share knowledge in presentations, written reports and dialogues
·  ability to take initiative
·  Ability to scan large amount of information's including very technical ones, conclude and identify key issues
·  Knowledge regarding surveys methodologies a plus
·  Truck /automotive industry knowledge is a merit
