Position Description

The mission of the extended offer is to protect the genuine parts by proposing a complete offer for a dealer. The extended offer is focused to the products useful for dealer's workshops as well as all technical products that are not linked to the trucks.
The extended parts offer portfolio manager is in charge of defining the strategy of one of the RT extended parts offer portfolios and to develop the sales and gross profit of this offer. So far, there are 4 Extended Parts offer portfolios:

·  Chemicals products
·  Technical products
·  Accessories
·  Dealer Workshop's Equipment
The extended parts offer portfolio manager is accountable for the product marketing mix (4P) related to her / his portfolio. She/He is the interface between RT Brand & Communication, RT sales area, RT Markets, VT Aftermarket (shared services), GTP and GTO.

The position reports to the RT Extended Parts Offer Manager within the RT Parts Offer team, part of RT Aftermarket organisation

Key Responsibilities
·  Develop/improve existing offer portfolio in term of net sales and profitability :
·  Improve the offer in term of Exhaustivity/Competitivity/Availability/Quality/Visibility/Promotion
·  Pilot portfolio commercial performance review with regional suppliers and markets
·  Analyze the market (customer needs, suppliers panel, competition), identify needs for regional offer (vs. local), to be proposed to RT Markets, RT Sales Areas, in order to grow sales and profit
·  Propose a regional portfolio development roadmap to RT Aftermarket management team
·  Deliver agreed regional portfolio roadmap (with markets/GTP/GTO/supplier's support)
·  Create & present a business case to RT Aftermarket management team
·  Create the regional offer 4Ps mix
·  Product: select the most relevant product in the portfolio, source the regional supplier, negotiate best commercial conditions; build frame agreements
·  Price: propose suggested retail price to the markets
·  Promotion: build with supplier support (and Marketing Department) a set of communication and promotion tools
·  Place: propose the most relevant logistic set up, in coordination with GTP, GTO and suppliers
·  Run part number creation process and regional offer documentation
·  Assure its deployment in targeted markets
·  Interface and collaborate with markets for the best interest of the Aftermarket business
·  Support RT markets in defining, creating, developing the local offers for his/her portfolioAnimate markets, cross fertilization of local best practices in his/her portfolio
Key competences & experience required for the position
·  Degree in business administration or technical engineering
·  Formal training in leadership, communication and cross-functional management (or project management)
·  Demonstrating high level of competence in each of the Volvo Leadership competencies, in particular customer focus, peer relationship, integrity and trust, action oriented, learning on the fly
·  Able to demonstrate successful aftersales or retail business experience
·  Minimum 2 years documented Commercial Leadership
·  Documented experience from working in or with of international markets and cultures
·  Able to demonstrate a clear vision, global mindset and successful people and culture leadership
·  Excellent communicator
·  Fluent in French and english
·  Advanced user in SAP, BW and Excel
·  Business acumen
·  Communication and persuasive skills
·  Goal and business result oriented with a strong drive
·  Teamwork and networking skills
