Position Description

Volvo Group IT in Wroclaw is looking for candidates to the position both as IT developer - Java Microservices Backend and JavaScript Frontend.

As an IT developer, you will work as JavaScript frontend developer with a number of new apps, built in the Neptune Planet 9 softwar e or as Java Microservices backend developer . You will work tightly together with a DevOps team of developers, testers and architects both supporting runtime operations and new development projects. You will also be part of the on-call 2nd line support approximately 1-2 weeks per month.

The new solutions are built upon the Neptune Planet 9 software and hosted within Azure Public Cloud . The objective is to enhance supply chain visibility by connecting material information with transport information and enable call off driven forecast of transport and packaging.

Responsibilities:
·  Develop new features in an iterative way that collectively form a larger application
·  Modify and enhance existing software to add or change features, while constantly improving the codebase
·  Participate in the estimation of work to be done as part of an overall agile process
·  Coordinate application implementation and test functionality to ensure specifications are met
Requirements:
·  Very experienced in Java or JavaScript
·  Strong knowledge in Microsoft Azure environments, Dockers and Kubernetes
·  Experience with App-development in Neptune 9 is seen as an advantage
