Position Description

Based Lancaster. We are looking to recruit a confident and engaging Customer Service Representative/CSR/Service Advisor at our dealerpoint in Morecambe.

Overview:

The role of CSR is to be the key customer contact at the front desk and over the phone, ensuring the service they receive is consistent and positive. He/she acts as a single point of contact for a customer, providing information as work is carried out on their vehicles in the workshop. They also proactively promote services and products where feasible.

The Role:

Build good working relationships with customers

Create, maintain and communicate the service plan to the customer

MOT appointments are planned and communicated to customers and to VOSA

Upsell products and services to the customer

On arrival stage - greet customer, clarify the repair e.g. retail, warranty, contract work.

Coordinate between customer and workshop, promote benefits of repair solutions

Explain invoice to customer when picking up vehicle, resolve any queries

Experience Required:

You will need to be methodical, well organised, proactive, resilient, and at times be able to handle a customer with an issue or complaint.

Experience of the HGV/motor/plant/automotive industry desirable, or a fast learner with a keen interest, who can quickly get to grips with technical information about different aspects of a truck. (You will be receiving information from customers about their vehicles, and then talking through work that is to happen on their vehicles).

Good IT skills to be able to pick up different in-house systems relating to repairs and invoices.

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive annual salary

22 days' holiday plus bank holidays

8am to 5pm, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, and work to 6pm one night per week.
