In the field of solid waste management, you will be responsible for managing the storeroom.
You will perform the following tasks:
-take delivery of equipment and goods ordered
-check the condition of the equipment.
-carry out routine maintenance of storeroom equipment.
-keep equipment and the working area clean and in good order
-comply with the rules of occupational health, safety and working conditions
-comply with environmental and quality recommendations
-report all cases of non-compliance noted on the site to your immediate supervisor
-check the condition of the equipment and goods delivered
-correctly store chemical products and update safety data records
-optimize inventory and prepare orders
-handle commercial relations with suppliers
-use the CMMS (computer-aided maintenance management system), managing inventory movements and incoming/outgoing stores
-forward and manage delivery dockets
-follow up and forward outgoing stores dockets
-estimate end-of-month inventory for accounting purposes
-carry out an annual physical and accounting stock-taking
You have a two-year higher education diploma in transportation logistics or a secondary education diploma in logistics, or a vocational training qualification as storeroom and packaging operative, or in logistics and marketing.
Any training or experience in distribution or the warehouse environment will be appreciated.
