Job Title - Recycling Operative
Sal ary - £10.01 per hour **** plus Veolia benefits *listed below
Location- You will be based at both sites: Newbury, West Berkshire, RG20 9AG and Padworth, RG7 4JF
Hours - Full time, 47.5 hours per week, 7-week rolling rota, including weekend work
What you'll do
We are looking for a Recycling Operative to join our busy team, where you will be responsible for carrying out recycling operative tasks across both our household waste recycling sites in Newbury and Padworth. Other duties include:
Ensuring materials are separated to meet the required standards of the markets as directed
Picking individual materials of the sorting conveyor as directed
Ensuring the work area is kept in a clean and tidy condition
Completing any training required for the role

Ideal candidate profile
The experience you will need
Experience within a similar customer-facing operational role
You must have your own transport as you will be required to travel to both sites
Experience as a Recycling Operative would be an advantage for this role

Where you'll work
You will be working across both our Padworth & Newbury household waste recycling sites based in West Berkshire with a friendly team of 16 operatives.
