New mechanical technologies expertises (i.e. additive manufacturing)
--Through internal and external contacts and networking, identify the new mechanical breakthrough technologies for our
products. Propose the relative action plan to the mechanical committee.
- For the selected technologies built the roadmap and the action plan and realize the actions
1-New mechanical technologies expertise studies
-Maintain a large internal and external network on mechanical technologies (associated Technological Focus Groups)
-Write roadmaps and define the associated projects, approved by the Mechanical metier committee technologies.
-Propose and track the collaborative actions and projects needed to succeed.
-Propose all additional actions and studies needed to master the value chain of the technologies (i.e. simulation tools,
simulations methods, machines, material, test....)
-Identify engaged BG / PG actions in this domain and optimize the resources available (re-use of validation test, set up to
the sharing of machines or tools own by 1 site by other sites)
-Identify and write trainings and standards validated by the Mechanical metier committee
-Identify and define the Valeo roadmap on the ALM for plastic and metallic part
-Develop his networking with suppliers (machine and material) and academics
- Survey all new ALM technologies and position to the Valeo needs
- Train new users and maintain the training materials at the cutting edge of technology
3-Technical technologies defect analysis
-support and could be pilot on technical technologies defect
4- Pilot of related working groups (ie TFG)
Education & training
Master Degree in Engineering with a specialization in mechanics , electromechanical engineering, materials
Areas of experience
20 years minimum in mechanical design or industrialisation of complex product in mass production environment a plus has worked on Additive Manufacturing
