As a Site SHE (Safety) supervisor, your role will be to influence significant sustainable improvement in safety and environmental performance by building a knowledgeable and engaged team. This position coordinates the overall implementation and maintenance of the SHE management system and promote continuous improvement practices which reduce the business SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) risk.

Who You Are & What You'll Do

You will work as a trusted guide to plant management for safety related queries. As a liaison for the corporate SHE team you will implement the learnings from Unilever sites across the globe at the Jonesboro site. You will be a teacher to the team and enable them to perform their roles in compliance with the written regulatory programs for the site in operation. As the coordination point for all safety incidents and you will facilitate and participate in safety investigations. As the culture and change champion for site safety you will leverage your experience to influence others to keep safety at the forefront. You will work closely with key members of the site management to analyze the safety statistics, identify trends and develop plans to transform the safety culture. As the safety leader, you will facilitate improvements through partnership with the operations team and foster a peer to peer safety culture throughout the factory. You will be the lead for safety management of new projects using tools such as risk assessment, risk prediction and non-routine task management.

Drives and facilitate the implementation of the SHE systems in line with :

Legislative requirements and Business process requirements
Annual, quarterly and monthly tracking of KPI's
Monitoring SHE objectives and targets
Driving, assisting with and collate general SHE risk assessments and risk predictions
Delivering SHE training programs
Liaises on annual and day to day issues with regulatory authorities, independent SHE auditing bodies and the Unilever SHE team in support of the site SHE manager
Maintaining best practice and knowledge base through networks within the wider SHE community internal and external

What You'll Need To Succeed

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Safety and Health preferred.
· Excellent knowledge of OSHA, EPA, SHE standards is essential.
· Good knowledge of manufacturing and Process Safety.
· Good observation and auditing skills.
· Proven track record of influencing individuals and teams.
· Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management.
· 2-5 years of SHE experiences preferred.
