About the Role:


This a permanent role working 12hr shifts both Day & Night shift rotation, across a 3-week pattern, averaging a 40hr 30min working week. We also provide tools and Electrical License allowances fortnightly.

This role is responsible for providing routine preventive maintenance and breakdown tasks as well as opportunities to participate in project work and continuous improvement activities. You will be based at our Minto factory involved in the processes making our delicious ice-cream Streets brands such as Cornetto, GayTime & Magnum.
Reporting into the Electrical Team Leader you will be responsible for:

· Calibration and maintenance of instrumentation on both water and wastewater plants
· Modifying and updating wiring diagrams
· Carry out planning of site specific scheduled maintenance tasks
· Perform general electrical duties and assist in operational tasks
· Maintenance of work area, including workshop and housekeeping
· Complete defect notifications and defect works
· Use supplied technology to investigate plant assets, faults and repairs, including fault finding with PLC hardware
· Communicate with and assist sub-contractors
· Provide training and mentoring to apprentices
· Work within the WH&S, Environmental and Quality Systems of Unilever Streets
· Fault finding, repair and maintaining high speed manufacturing equipment, including extruding and moulding of ice cream products with; flow wrapping, box forming, closing machinery and complex conveyor systems
· It is essential that you hold a NSW Qualified Electrical Supervisor License

It would be advantageous if you also had:

· Extensive knowledge of Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, including Control Logix,
· Compact Logix, Device-Net, Point-I/O and Ethernet/IP or EQUIVALENT
· Strong knowledge of Factory Talk ME, SE and Panelview HMI or EQUIVALENT
· Solid knowledge and understanding of Siemens, PCS7, TIA and HMI systems
· Previous food manufacturing experience
· Understanding of Siemens-TI
· Understanding of Citect
· Solid understanding of networking
· WCM, TPM OR lean manufacturing
· AP knowledge desirable
