Role Summary/Purpose

As a member of a World-Class Team, the Machine Operator will set up and operate automatically controlled equipment. Dimensions will be verified by use of precision instruments. Use of appropriate material handling equipment to load work into machine. Operation of the plasma machine and Nesting of programs. All safety policies and procedures will be followed to ensure the highest level of safety for all processes. Other related duties as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Machine Operator you will:

·  Set up and operation of automatically controlled equipment
·  Operating and nesting programs on the Plasma Machine
·  Verifying all dimensions of finished work
·  Use of material handling equipment to load work into machines
·  Follow all safety policies and procedures
·  Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma or GED equivalent
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

·  Previous Nesting program experience-Software such as ProNest

Desired Characteristics

·  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
·  Basic Computer skills
·  Ability to use and interpret production micrometers, guages, and tapes
·  Great communication skills
·  Team Player
·  Demonstrate aptitude for diagnostic troubleshooting
