Supply Chain Internship (Brussels)

Looking for a challenging internship in Supply Chain, starting in July, Sept or October 2020?

The focus of the Supply Chain department is to create the most effective and efficient chain of products from the supplier to the customer or end consumer. The Supply Chain department focuses on all aspects of the chain, where the goal is to exceed the customer's needs.

During your internship, you will be part of the Supply Chain Operations and Planning team, where you will work with all food and refreshment brands in Belgium. With this internship you can build the strong brands of Unilever that improve the lives of people every day!

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities could be (amongst others):

Monitoring stocks and orders, from Supply Chain first point of contact to factories and customer teams in the Multi-Country Organisation.

Responsible for alignment with copackers, stock management and inbound transport planning.

·
Reduce transport costs and increase customer service.

·
All-round support to the Supply Chain team.

What we ask:
· You are an EU national.
·
You are enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student from a European university (or equivalent institution) or Business School during the entire internship. You have demonstrable affinity with Supply Chain and FMCG.

·
You are available for 3 to ideally 6 months from September or October 2020 (at least 32 hours a week). The internship may start earlier, during summer.

You are fluent in English + Dutch or French, depending on the internship

· You are a team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
· You are a self-starter, able to work autonomously.
·
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and feel comfortable with data analysis.

· You are able to work with a diversity of people and teams.
· You are familiar with MS office tools in particular Excel and Powerpoint.
· Knowledge or experience with SAP is a big plus!
