MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Enterprise & Technology Solutions (ETS) is Unilever's services & IT organisation that plays a crucial role in Unilever's simplification and cost agenda by focussing on five thrusts:

Working with around 3500 employees and more than 8000 service provider staff, ETS delivers a wide range of employee services (HR services, Finance Services, Workplace & Travel Services, IT Services), manages technology and drives process excellence/information and analytics across Unilever.

The Workplace & Travel Services (WTS) organisation, a part of ETS, delivers the Real Estate, Facilities Management, Building Projects, Travel and Agile (Workplace and Agile Certification) services for Unilever, managing a portfolio in excess of 10 million Square Meters of Space. Working with around 850 + permanent employees and 5000+ supplier resources.

To deliver this integrated ambition, an exciting opportunity exists for an assistant with strong communication, training and project management experience. As a new role, there is enormous potential to land engaging internal safety and security communications, explore innovative deliver channels and create engaging content to drive best practice safety and security into Unilever business operations; fit to win in the connected digital environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

· Assist the Global Safety & Security Manager to deliver the ambitious WTS Safety and Security Workplan.
· Offer project management and administration support to the Global Safety & Security Manager to ensure clarity in project objectives, associated deliverables and regular updates to the WTS Leadership Team.
· Facilitate new ways of working to drive the safety and security agenda in a connected digital external environment.
· Help co-ordinate several improvement projects alongside day-to-day operational support to the business.
· Assist in creation of learning content, sharp internal communications and engaging Safety and Security media.
· Liaise with the regional Service Delivery community to ensure Safety & Security of our people, information and property.
· Help drive enhanced compliance and governance for Safety and Security within WTS.
· Work closely with supplier partners to ensure program alignment.
· Upskill and educate global the WTS function in Safety & Security.
· Focus on office safety & security performance, infrastructure, service delivery, technology and innovation.
· Help risk profile our global workplace portfolio for safety and security to inform levels of protection required.
· Help embed a safe & security culture throughout WTS, 800+ FTE's & 6000+ contractors globally across all offices, R&D & supply chain facilities.
· Help ensure consistent understanding and deployment of global Safety & Security framework and standards.
· Champion safe and secure behaviour, contributing to reducing incidents and support the delivery of the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP).
· Participate in pilot studies / projects to ensure integration of safety and security requirements.
· Assist in building and maintain the Global WTS Safety & Security SharePoint site.
· Support creation of engaging training and learning materials for behavioural safety, office safety, construction and retail safety and security through Cornerstone, Degreed, Easygenerator and other emerging platforms.
· Delivery of subject matter training to various internal stakeholder groups.
· Maintain the Safety & Security content within the Global Workplace Design standards.
· Develop your own understanding, knowledge and application of safety and security.
· Generate sharp Safety and Security global communication assets and toolkits.
· Use global data to generate required regional /country / site level status / summary reports.
· Represent safety and security as a virtual stakeholder for global real estate projects.
· Lead quality control in our evolving business continuity plans for strategic workplace sites.
· Help maintain SHE policy and system framework across all regions in accordance with Unilever requirements in coordination with Unilever Group Safety and Group Security.
· Write and update Procedures, Safe Working Instructions and Checklists which reflect best practice, changes in legislation, learning's from incidents, emerging risks and issues etc.
· Assist with WTS SHE and Security Metrics and monthly reporting requirements.
· Coordinate and support compliance activities to ensure standards are maintained within WPS regions operations globally, including suppliers and sub-contractors.
· Provide administrative support for meetings, minutes, purchase order requisitions and goods receipting.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

· Effective communicator and sharp attention to detail.
· Excellent Computer skills - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
· A highly organised individual with project management experience.
· A self-starter able to quickly understand the market and network effectively with internal stakeholders.
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Preferably a bachelor's degree.
· Previous experience within an FMCG / technical / FM environment (Supply Chain would be advantageous).
· A passion for the profession, working to keep people safe and secure.
· NEBOSH General Certificate desirable.
