BUSINESS CONTEXT AND MAIN JOB PURPOSE:


We are looking for highly motivated, experienced and capable Assistant Global Brand Development Manager (ABM) to support on the Pure White, Acne Clear and Clear Solutions Platforms. This is a global role with white space opportunities.

As an ABM in the global team, you'll play a critical supporting role to the Brand Manager, ensuring the project is aligned with the brand strategy plan and targeting excellent delivery on time in full. You'll be able to develop an in-depth understanding of brand development and the business environment within personal care. The role offers plenty of scope for independent leadership and clear own-able deliverables.


JOB SUMMARY

• This role will be critical to support the Global Brand Development Manager delivering the activity plan and innovation roadmap for the platforms and will have specific responsibility for various projects in the innovation pipeline.

• Co-lead in crafting Marketing Mixes from Ideas to Launch

• Co-Lead and excite internal brand and cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding product mixes for the Face Care category

· Manage budgets and internal IPM process
· Managing Cross functional teams
· Work closely with CMI to develop consumer testing plans for product and communications
· Work closely with R&D to develop exciting products and claims
· Work closely with SC to manage a tight network and operational planning
· Work closely with finance to develop business cases
· Support the new C4G way of working with speed and agility and collaborating closely with markets to get input for project development


• The marketing team is looking for a highly capable individual to support the team on various exciting breakthrough brand lead growth and innovation projects and digital activities. The role will require an empowered individual to independently lead and execute a number of streams of work.

· Is a self-starter with a can-do attitude and strong solution focus
· Is passionate about understanding the consumer and is keen to translate this knowledge to create insightful strategy, communication and innovation
· An eye for beautiful creative execution, great quality and insightful communications as well as purposeful and aesthetic design
· Is passionate about skin care and beauty industry and immersed in the latest beauty trends
· Has strong inter-personal skills as a foundation for excellent project and cross functional team management
· Is comfortable & confident taking responsibility and accountability for the delivery of large elements of the project

RELEVANT SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


Essential:
• Bachelor degree in any discipline

• Ideally 2 - 3 years of Marketing experience preferably for FMCG industry

• Experience developing concepts and brand communication
• Demonstrated high performance in project management
• Strategic thinking and strong growth mindset

• Analytical approach to working with concepts, consumers, problem solving, stakeholder management

• Flexibility to travel within the region, when required (5-10% of time)

Desirable:
• Regional or Global exposure is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience working with in a matrix organization is desirable
• Knowledge or previous experience of digital marketing is a plus
