GLOBAL DATABASE MARKETEER CAMPAIGNING

Operating in over 70 markets around the world, Unilever Food Solutions is the dedicated foodservice business of Unilever. Our portfolio encompasses many of the world's leading food brands including Knorr, PG Tips, Flora, Colman's and Hellmann's.

UFS has traditionally been using account managers to engage with chefs of food serving establishments (restaurants, hotels, caterings, etc.). In recent years, the role of digital channels has significantly increased; using the right combination of both off- and online touchpoints has become essential in creating the perfect customer journey.

To perform as a company in this digitalized world, data is key. The focus of digital marketing is to engage chefs with our platform and convert them into buying customers. This is achieved by continuous development and optimization of the UFS.com website and web shop, segmented & personalized automated campaigns and the UFS apps. Data is our fuel, it all starts with data. In UFS, we have a global database consisting of data on the UFS customers. Whether it is profile data, sales data, clickstream data, it's all there.

JOB PURPOSE

The Campaigning team is an dynamic, data driven and international team. The key objective of the Campaign Database Marketeer role is to drive sales using data to identify opportunities throughout the whole customer life-cycle phases. Together with the global campaign team you will translate that insight into actionable conversion driven campaign tactics across touch points to achieve our conversion targets (reach, conversion, and sales).

If you are an experienced database marketeer who likes to work on a global level and wants to drive the data driven campaign strategy, then this might be the role for you. In this role you will work closely as a consultant and partner to our global campaigning team in executing highly effective campaigns for our 22 MCO's (Multi Country Organizations). You will support them to plan, create and execute successful digital campaigns by addressing the right segments, at the right time with the relevant content using the right touchpoints across paid, earned and owned media.

You are always on the lookout to find new insights and are driven by results closely monitored by you, through daily performance reporting. This way you fuel the ongoing test, learn & optimization cycle to drive and maximize our results.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
Analysis
· Formulate multivariate testing within campaigns including the use of control groups and AB testing
· Performing deep dive analyses on web, app and (offline / online) campaign related subjects e.g.:
· Performance of the different communication touchpoints
· ROI calculations for marketing campaigns & programs
· Multi-Channel Attribution for campaigns
· Funnel analyses for a campaign with drop off momentums (email, push, sms, web analytics, app analytics on user level)
· Collaborate with central data team to identify best performing retention products per Business Type
· Activity analyses for customer base (engagement of customers within campaigns, apps, or on UFS.com)
· Frequency analysis for email recipients (execution of countries on their campaigns)

Segmentations/personalization
· Identify clear business opportunities and segments to improve digital reach, increase engagement, grow the number of sales conversions
· Provide data insights to the Campaigning Team to create actionable actions / measurements for improving KPI's
· Define and select best to target campaign segments based on expected conversion globally and locally
· Provide guidance to the local market on target selection based on data availability
· Support in GDPR related questions on dbase status
· Collaborate with the global Data Scientists in building best practice product & recipe recommendations

Reporting
· Create business requirements for the BI colleague to build dashboards that deliver insights to Campaigning Team and their reporting needs
· Support in creating holistic funnel multi touchpoint campaign dashboards in Tableau that give info on all major KPI's needed to manage, optimize current and build new (white spots) multi touch point campaigns.
· Create slicing and dicing functionality within dashboards that enables all Campaigning Team / stake holders to deep dive themselves when KPI's are underperforming
· Create best practices in data visualization that are user friendly and evangelize within the organization and are ready to go in presentations
· Help with reporting frameworks e.g.:
· overall Dashboard in Tableau which gives all the strategic & tactical information or our customers
· weekly operational report that gives campaign marketers a heads-up on the performance and execution of their campaigns executed by MCOs


SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE

· Able to translate insights from data into actionable and pragmatic tactics for Campaigning Team / marketers / sales representatives
· Able to judge requests from Campaigning Team on their added value in reaching the business goals
· Eager to learn and not afraid to start working on projects that have a highly innovational character
· Extensive knowledge of Excel
· Strong communication skills
· Fluency in English language

EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE
· 2 to 5 years work experience as a data analyst, database marketer or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Marketing
· Extensive experience with report and dashboard development in BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
· Knowledge of SQL
· Thorough knowledge on data modeling, data architecture
· Extensive understanding of the use and the integrating data from different sources (profile, sales & clickstream data) and different touchpoints
· Broad knowledge on visualizing data in a user-friendly way
