Assistant Key Account Manager

Reports to

Channel Manager - MT

Main purpose of the role

The primary role of a Key Account Manager is to effectively manage the operations of Key Customers. This involves delivering the agreed category business objectives in this channel. The role requires strategic thinking, solid planning and analytic skills, a passion for growth, and an ability to lead and deliver through others.

• To be responsible for Value plan delivery for the assigned Customers/Geography & to build the team as an execution powerhouse
• To ensure that Unilever Category Objectives are fully met.
• To ensure that agreed standards of customer service are met.
• To ensure that all trading agreements with customers are fully implemented.
• To ensure that all planned activities are in place on time.

Main accountabilites

• Ensure achievement of IMS, Distribution and visibility Targets for all Brands & Categories & avoid any OOS.
• Develop and implement appropriate Channel & Customer Plans utilizing the support budget to achieve the sales Targets.
• Monitor Sales Performance by Brand by Customer through Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports.
• Conduct frequent Business review meetings with all customers.
• Lead the related negotiations with all customers.
• Ensure Shelf Planno-Grams are maintained as per the plans.
• To actively monitor competitors’ activities and suggest / implement appropriate action.
• Devote maximum time in the market to understand the dynamics of the Channel.
• To provide Sales Forecast in line with Sales Trend and Sales Plan.
• To ensure that agreed Customer Service standard / parameters are met.
• Effective monitoring Sales & Merchandising Force through well designed route plans.
• Constantly provide on job coaching to Sales & Merchandising Force.
• Maintain a high level of team motivated & focus.
• Ensure customer outstanding do not exceed the agreed credit limits.
• Ensure customers’ payouts are settled on time.
• Develop CRC - Customer Record Card
• Agree stock norms for store / shelf for lead brands with KA's.

KEY NON NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be Physcially based in the city where the role is located (Jeddah, Riyadh, or Dammam)
2. Must have a Valid Drivers License for KSA (females should have intent to gain drivers license by end of 2020)
3. Must have atleast 3 years of CD (Sales) Experience
