CDI Assistant Business Development Manager H/F

CONTEXT OF THE POSITION:

You will be part of the Unilever International team. Our purpose is to ‘Serve the Underserved and Make a Difference to Unilever'.

As Unilever's growth engine, we are thirdly responsible for creating a global white space business in alternate channels like Duty Free (66bn $ globally), E Commerce Seeding in China and India, marketing to Institutional partners like the United Nations and seeding Unilever brands to overseas diaspora who miss their home brands.

YOUR MISSIONS:

The Assistant Business Development Manager is responsible for executing and delivering business targets by seeding and managing Unilever international portfolio across selected markets in Europe through network of Distribution partners.

As such, your main responsibilities will be:

Distributor Management

• Deliver sales target for all product by executing the Distributor Annual business plans

• Manage customer P&L – setting targets, promotional spends, establish the best route-to-market to maximize cost efficiencies.

• Working with cross functional teams i.e. Marketing, Supply chain, Finance to drive business and achieve set targets.

Customer Marketing Support to Distributor Team

• Leading Customer and Channel strategy for all brand launches

• Aligning Channel and Customer investment plan with distributor team

• Closely work with distributor and broker team for on time/in full execution of key innovations and promotional activities to drive sales.

• Understanding of market dynamics across all the channels to develop the right portfolio, pricing and distribution requirement for each channel.

• Monitor in market pricing, promotional activities of customers

Other Responsibilities

• Drive Operational support to Business Development activities like Monthly Order tracking, Forecast versus Actuals analysis

• Support Business Development Manager in identifying new Business Development Opportunities by analyzing historical data, comparing competitor information and then creating plans for potential opportunities

• Ensure compliance with Unilever's corporate policies and procedures.

• Maintain highest quality standards, ensure safe working practices and care for environment.

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· A Bac+5 degree in business management or marketing.
· At least 3 years of experience in the FMCG sector.
· Must be able to speak proficient business English.
· Understanding of Finance P&L of Brands and Customers.
· Self-starter, proactive, driven.
