Your challenge

As Site Manager Belgium you focus on continuously having the right content on the travelbird.be domain and improving this content, as you are responsible for the overall performance of all travel offers on the site. Besides you are responsible for having the right categories on your site and the category management process; understanding the traveler and the local travel market, guaranteeing a fresh offering mix and steering category-related marketing pushes. You focus on the overall category push and local campaigns through different marketing channels towards our travelers. Additionally as a Site Manager you are responsible for the development- and performance of your team members; category managers and product makers. You report directly to the Regional Manager of your country.

Your tasks

·  Managing the Category Managers and Product Makers of team BE;
·  Conducting 1:1's, performance reviews, stand-ups & team meetings;
·  Managing all categories on the travelbird.be domain;
·  Ensuring that the categories and category managers fulfil the travelers' demand;
·  Managing the process to translate data into the right category mix for our segments;
·  Translating and communicating the category mix into the right marketing mix;
·  Conducting weekly website improvement cycles with product managers (Tech), category managers and other site managers;
·  Delivering input for strategic decisions towards your Regional Manager;
·  Building and continuously improving short and long term performance of the website offer mix; responsible for conversion, retention and engagement as key metrics;
·  Making monthly and quarterly forecasts of demand in cooperation with the Regional Manager;
·  Liaising with key stake-holding departments: Web Editing, Marketing, Product, Customer Acquisition and higher management;
·  Contributing the further growth of TravelBird.

Who you are

·  You are smart (master degree);
·  You have > 2 years experience in a commercial online environment;
·  You have > 1 years experience in team management (preferable);
·  You have local market knowledge (preferable);
·  You are decisive and commercially driven;
·  You are result, performance and number oriented;
·  You are an analytical thinker and data literated;
·  You are a natural leader that develops, directs, delegates and coaches;
·  You are capable of working in- and across teams as well as on your own;
·  You are a pro-active, flexible and stress-resistant;
·  You work in an organised, accurate and structured manner;
·  You are a multi-tasker and able to prioritize;
·  You are a professional at interpretation of numerical data;
·  You are challenged by the idea to facilitate the further growth of TravelBird;
·  You are fluent in English and master a native level Flemish|Dutch.
