Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Account Manager to work within our Major Accounts Team providing excellent customer service to Blue Chip/Public Sector customers who demand the best. The role includes ensuring your customers are provided with accurate invoices and reporting on a monthly basis in line with contractual requirements. You will need to proactively own and manage the resolution of all queries through investigation and liaison with other internal departments and third parties.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

 

·  Working within the Major Business Servicing team you will be responsible for the management of all billing and portfolio administration tasks relating to your portfolio of customers.
·  To build and maintain strong working relationships with your portfolio of customers by the use of telephone, email and on occasions face to face meetings
·  Liaise closely with relevant sales manager to ensure new customer requirements are established and set up prior to contract start date
·  Ensure customers reporting requirements are established, set up and sent in-line with the customers’ expectations
·  Set up and maintain customer site and energy supply information
·  Manage and resolve both internally and externally raised queries that are raised for customers in your portfolio efficiently, to ensure queries are resolved within agreed targets
·  Validate/Analyse consumption data prior to billing release
·  Work closely with other departments to ensure customers’ requirements are met
·  Takes accountability and a pro-active, commercial approach to manage and control own workload ensuring that the customers’ needs are satisfied to their standards/SLAs.  The ability to multi task is essential
·  Identifying weaknesses and possible enhancements in current processes and procedures.  Ability to present ideas to Team Manager
·  Meet agreed targets to minimise number and value of accounts not billed
·  To carry out a regular H&S inspection of your teams working areas.

Candidate profile

As the focal point of contact for your customers enquiries, ensuring they receive the expected high level of Customer Service the ideal candidate will be numerate and literate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.  Day to day experience of excel is required.
