What’s in it for you?

The Internship program for Community Based Organizations (CBOs) is designed to provide a working and learning opportunity for students interested in nonprofit and community based careers. Candidates should have a strong interest in learning about TJX’s commitment to being a Neighbor of Choice and also an interest in working with diverse communities. 

 

Qualifications 

·  3.0 GPA or above 
·  Students with an entrepreneurial spirit who have a drive for results 
·  Excellent communicators who work well in teams 
·  Students with proven leadership abilities and strong work ethic 
·  Problem solvers who are both critical and creative thinkers  
·  Self-starters who can multitask in a fast paced environment 
·  A genuine interest in helping people 
·  Previous community based experience 
·  Majors in 
·  Business 
·  Liberal Arts 
·  Social work 
·  Finance 
·  Any additional qualifications the CBO deems desirable 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

·  Assist the designated non-profits with an assigned project or area of responsibility 
·  Attend TJX related events
