Job description

Purpose:
To bring and share his technology’s expertise and drive digital projects across
the Group's scope and across all functions.
MISSION 1 ANALYZE NEEDS AND SUGGEST DIGITAL SOLUTIONS
· Analyze users ‘needs and business issues, their obligations and
constraints and propose solutions to meet the expectations.
· Supervise the development of the specifications.
· Define the target projects, evaluate them and propose a deployment plan.
· Participate in the global management of digital activities.
MISSION 2 DRIVE DIGITAL PROJECTS
· Pilot the implementation of new web or mobile applications.
· Write the specifications and user documentation.
· Ensure alignment between needs and propose solutions and support to
the users
· Guarantee the evolution of the implemented solutions and their
compliance with Thuasne's IT architecture principles.
MISSION 3 ENSURE PERMANENT ATTENTION IN HIS FIELD OF
ACTIVITY
· Ensure a technological and competitive look on digital innovations.
· Identify use cases and carry out business cases.
· Synthesize the information collected the day before and intervene as
advice and support to decision-makers.
MISSION 4 ENSURING SECURITY OF COMPUTER DATA
· Manage IT security (access permissions, protections, etc.).
· Ensure the application of current security procedures (codification,
access, confidentiality, backup, regulatory compliance)..
Profil
The candidate will do the interface between the business and the IT.
He is not an advanced developer, but he must have a good knowledge of existing technologies.
If the candidate has development skills, it's a plus but it's not the most important. The most important thing is that he knows our customers to be able to roll out solutions in line with the expectations of the end users (Internal & External).
If the candidate has a sales experience, it could be interesting.
He has a strong affinity for such areas is clearly more important to me than the actual school leaving certificate, because such people, in addition to the theoretical knowledge, have to be primarily, personally interested in this matter.
He is an organized and autonomous person able to take initiatives.
He got a good knowledge in the project methodology and a strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
He has demonstrated proficiency in Office automation tools (I.e Office suite) and analytics tools such as BI, CRM, ...
The candidate schould be able to communicate in french and german or english
