System Architect for Generic Solution Architecture (Ref.Nr. 1714578)

In the Transportation System division at our headquarters in Ditzingen near Stuttgart

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

In this role you analyse the different customer requirements and market trends to understand commonalities and variants.

It also involves the following tasks:

· Elaborate the Solution/System architecture to cover the requirements by modelling in a common repository
· Define the necessary requirements for the needed building blocks and products
· Transfer the methodological approach in training sessions and on-the-job-coaching
· Support system architects to apply the solution architecture in bids and projects
· Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the provide architecture and methodological approach
· Understand the needs of the users and contribute to the methodological enhancement and evolution
· Represent Thales within internal and external standardisation committees as well as R&T projects regarding the methods and tools used
· Act as a consultant to apply formal methods to products and projects - also with respect to safety aspects

You have:

· University Degree - preferably phd.
· Highly experienced in the field of formal methods and modelling
· Preferably experience within the railway domain
· team player, excellent communicator, structured worker and self-organized
· Very good English skills
